Coming Soon ... Book Reviews!

I got a Kindle Fire from my parents for my birthday.  The girls have discovered their favorite apps for it.  It also can be used to read books!  While searching for some new titles, I discovered a site called Net Galley.  You can request copies of books from publishers to read and review before they are available.  Several publishers only allow bloggers to receive advance copies .... so here we go!

I plan to post a review of all of the books that I read.  I don't have a favorite genre, but in general, I don't do non-fiction well.  Or historical fiction.  Or biographies.  You'd have to talk to my dad about that.

In the meantime, here are several book-buying websites I am quite fond of:

• Amazon.com (duh!)
• Barnes & Noble (we are members and it saves on books and shipping)
• Better World Books (a great resource for new and used books and textbooks)
